Kids & Youth - Helpful Contacts
Whatever's happening in your life right now; bet there's someone who's been through it too. Whether you need help getting a job; or things are rocky at home... There's a lot of helpful organizations to give you advise... Give them a shout and see what's available out there for you. You're never alone - just find a mentor to guide you and stay on your path!
And while we've listed some organizations in areas you might be looking for below, always remember 211 which is a free community information and resource centre you can call day or night, seven days a week by just dialing 211 from your own phone. They also have Street Helpline which is a toll-free number you can call from any payphone without a quarter by dialing 1-866-392-2777. They're friendly and will help you find the appropriate organizations in Ontario you need; from everything from emergency housing, transportation to shelters, daycare, elderly services, even employment and government departments.
Just remember 211 or go to their website www.211toronto.ca- you'll be in good hands.
